An Evening with KINTO in Paris


On September 5, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting an intimate dinner event in the heart of Paris, coinciding with Maison&Objet and Paris Design Week. Held at iRASSHAi restaurant, steps away from the Bourse de Commerce Pinault Collection, partners and friends of KINTO gathered for an evening of Japanese-inspired cuisine, served on our newest tableware collection, TERRA.

TERRA collection, crafted by artisans in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture, Japan, features earthy, reddish-brown clay and nuanced glazes that reflect true craftsmanship. The collection was the highlight of the evening, beautifully complementing the curated menu.

Prior to the dinner, guests enjoyed a cocktail session featuring sparkling sake, served in our signature KRONOS champagne glasses.

The menu for the night was prepared by chef Mitsunori Kozen from iRASSHAi.

Menu
• Japanese-style marinated mackerel, blue meat radish, kimizu sauce
• Chawanmushi with poultry and sweet potato, yuzu sauce
• Sea bass grilled Yuan style, mushrooms, topinambour
• Duck breast grilled over binchotan, hoba miso sauce, seasonal vegetables
• 7 piece assorted of tempura of seasonal vegetables
• Hitomebore rice cooked in a mushroom broth
• Choux buns, miso milk jam, yuzu cream, sesame biscuit, yuzu sorbet
