tokyobike (London)

Based on the concept of ‘Tokyo Slow’ bikes from tokyobike are designed to be light to ride with an emphasis on comfort over speed. The bike is simply a way to enjoy your city, as much about the journey as the destination. The London store is based in Shoreditch and we asked his manager Neil Davis how the collaboration between tokyobike and KINTO started.
"The Tokyo Slow concept adopted by tokyobike chimes with the KINTO attitude to coffee and our relationship began in Tokyo when tokyobike partnered with KINTO on a coffee bar inside one of their new stores. Since then we have collaborated with KINTO at our London store running a series called 'Slow Saturdays' where customers could learn more about drip coffee and how to enjoy it at home."
"For tokyobike the bicycle is really just a tool to help make the most out of city life and we don't see much difference between the bike and say the TRAVEL TUMBLER which is the first thing we grab when we leave the house in the morning."

In the same way that mountain bikes are designed for the mountains, tokyobike is designed for cycling in Tokyo. tokyobikes aren’t just about speed or transport, but are about making small changes to the everyday life. Through bikes and various initiatives, tokyobike aims to help everyone experience the joy of exploring the their own cities. It is as much about the journey as the destination. / @tokyobikelondon
