Matsumoto Jujo pre-opened in Nagano Prefecture (Japan) in 2020. It is the result of an area-wide renovation project in Asama Onsen centered around the revitalization of Koyanagi, a hot spring ryokan whose history dates back to 1684. Matsumoto Jujo includes two hotels ‘Matsumoto Honbako’ and ‘Konayagi’ (each designed with a unique concept), a remodeled traditional house-turned-cafe, a bookstore housed in one of the old ryokan buildings, a bakery, a shop, and a hard cider brewery.
The cafe and restaurant serve some of their drinks in KINTO’s OCT and SEPIA, perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee during a stroll around the quaint onsen town.
