Product Journey: From KINTO Headquarters

KINTO's headquarters is located in Hikone City in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
Hikone City is known for Lake Biwa, where you can enjoy a calm lakeside and activities such as camping, in addition to the historic Hikone Castle. Many locals are long-time residents, finding the area convenient for transportation and overall pleasant to live in. At KINTO headquarters, there are many well-experienced team members who support KINTO's wide range of logistics operations including import, export, order processing, and shipping.
The headquarters is also responsible for quality control and customer support.

In-house Warehouse Management
All products arrive from our partner factories to KINTO's warehouse located adjacent to the headquarters building. From here, products are shipped throughout Japan and overseas.

For customers who place orders on the KINTO Japan website, orders are usually shipped out on the same day. By having our own warehouse, we are able to review closely and constantly work on improving our logistics systems and strategy, ensuring a smooth process from order processing to shipping.

The headquarters team also grows and manages the shipment of KINTO's plant brand "MOLLIS". To ensure the growth and delivery of lively and healthy plants, they are cared for in a dedicated greenhouse.

Direct Sales to Customers
For orders placed on the KINTO Japan website, each product is carefully inspected before they are shipped out to customers. This is not only to ensure the quality, but also to check regularly whether there are any further improvements that can be made with our product development.

In Japan, some services are offered exclusively to customers who buy directly from KINTO: original KINTO gift bags, "MARK IT BY KINTO" tumbler engraving service, and the sales of spare parts. We work to provide services that will lead to the enjoyment of our products for a long time.

Packaging Initiatives
We take great care to prevent products from being damaged during transportation. At the same time, we are continuously researching ways to minimize the amount of packaging materials that would end up as waste. Currently, we incorporate shrink-wrap and special compact shipping boxes depending on the product and the order.

Follow-up
Our customer support team aims to assist customers in using KINTO products for a long time. In addition to responding to inquiries, we regularly share feedbacks from our customers internally. Based on this, we work on ways to better inform our customers about the care and usage of our products, as well as further improving our products and services.
